Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) Information Text
This privacy notice has been prepared in accordance with Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform.

KTeknik is a private technical service and IT services provider independent of device manufacturers and brands.
2. Categories of personal data processed

Device contents will not be examined unless it is an essential part of the service process. Users are advised to back up their personal data before receiving their device and, if possible, restrict access to it.
3. Processing purposes
- Managing appointment scheduling, service acceptance, fault diagnosis, repair, testing, and delivery processes;
- Managing quotes, fees, payments, invoices, warranties, and customer communications;
- Responding to service status inquiries, live support, and information requests;
- Information security, prevention of misuse, and ensuring system continuity;
- To fulfill legal obligations, manage disputes, and provide information to competent authorities;
- With explicit consent, we can conduct analytical measurement and marketing activities.
4. Collection methods and legal grounds
Data is obtained automatically or non-automatically as part of a data recording system through website forms, appointment and service tracking systems, telephone, WhatsApp, email, live support, store/service acceptance, and device delivery documents.
- KVKK Article 5/2-c: Being necessary for the formation or performance of the contract;
- KVKK Article 5/2-c: The data controller must fulfill its legal obligations;
- KVKK m.5/2-e: The establishment, exercise, or protection of a right;
- KVKK m.5/2-f: Legitimate interest, provided it does not prejudice fundamental rights and freedoms;
- KVKK Article 5/1: Explicit consent in analytical, marketing, or other processing activities not specified by law.
5. Transmission and receiving groups
Personal data may be transferred to hosting and IT infrastructure providers, communication/live support service providers, payment and accounting service providers, shipping/logistics companies, legal and financial advisors, and legally authorized public institutions, provided that the transfer is limited to the purpose and necessary security measures are taken. Personal data will not be sold for commercial purposes.
When services based abroad, such as Google and Tawk.to, are activated by user preference, data transfer is carried out in accordance with the conditions and appropriate safeguards stipulated in Article 9 of the KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law). In cases where explicit consent is a legal basis, data transfer is only carried out after explicit consent has been given.
6. Storage and disposal
Data is stored for the period necessary for the processing purpose and for the periods stipulated in relevant tax, consumer, trade, debt, and other legislation. Data that is no longer subject to legal retention are deleted, destroyed, or anonymized after this period.
7. Your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK (Personal Data Protection Law)
You have the right to inquire with the data controller whether your personal data is being processed; to request information if it is being processed; to learn the purpose of the processing and whether it is being used in accordance with that purpose; to know the third parties to whom the data has been transferred, whether domestically or internationally; to request the correction of incomplete or inaccurate data; to request deletion or destruction when the conditions are met; to request that the correction and deletion processes be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred; to object to an adverse outcome resulting from automated systems; and to claim compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing.
